American Nuisance

There is a proverb saying "American enmity is bad but its friendship is even worse". When there is any person saying that Americans are friends of Pakistan, I laugh at his childish mind. Such kind of thinking is only to delude ourselves as there is not anything pretty which we can say is done only for the friendship of Pakistan. Lets face it, America is a country conserving its own interest in all those places where it entangles its nose.
At one place we call it a true friend at other places we award it the title of grumpy old mother in law. To add salts to the misery, the asking of "DO MORE" despite our immense efforts in war against terrorism is as perilous for Pak-America relations as suicide attacks.
Pakistan is an independent country have its own interests and rights. To ask Pakistan to do only those deeds which are in accordance with American interests is out of Question. Pakistan is already fighting a  war in South Waziristan and is being asked to start another war on its northern side. Ridiculous! isn't it.
America is facing defeat in Pakistan as its troops are being confined a very small area around Kabul with more and more attacks piling up the names of Killed American Soldiers in so called war on Terror. Terrorism can never be defeated with terrorism but it is completely not comprehended by Power starved America. Terrorism of today has only one solution, the reconciliation.
This reconciliation can never be successful unless it is participated by there parties, Taliban, Pakistan and America. If this happens then, there are chances of success of this trilogue otherwise all the secret meetings with Taliban leaders will be in vain.
America should stop goofing off and admit defeat in Afghanistan as this is the only way of getting out from Afghanistan which is acting as a hell for the NATO and American soldiers. Pakistan on the other hand, should get rid of procrastination and be more active and vigilant in getting support and advantage from evergreen Pak-China friendship.
